She selected the color herself and wanted her toenails painted. Since she already had socks and shoes on, I suggested her fingernails instead. She sat patiently through the whole nail-painting session, then declared her nails, "so pretty!" when we were done.
Now, if only she would let me put barrettes in her hair...

Ari's nails do look "so pretty". Is this the first time you've painted her nails?
What a little girlie girl :) I used to have sparkly nail polish that would peel off without nail polish remover. But I wouldn't suggest that for Ari just yet. She'd probably spend all her time peeling it off and wanting you to paint it back on again :)
